We had a really disappointing experience at this high-end restaurant recently. It was our third time there, but this visit was a letdown. We ordered four steaks medium rare, but two came out well done. When we pointed it out to our server, instead of an apology or quickly remaking the dishes, she asked us to flip the steaks to prove they were overcooked. It was awkward and made us feel uncomfortable. The rest of our group had to wait while they remade the steaks, and there was no apology for the inconvenience. What really got to us was, after all that, the server had the audacity to ask why we didn’t leave extra tips on top of the automatic gratuity for our party of seven. Considering the service we received, that was just ridiculous. We’ve decided not to go back there again.

I visited this past weekend, and I was incredibly upset about the quality of the toilet paper available for guests in the "luxurious" restrooms! it was surprisingly disappointing when the expectations for a place to have THE worst toilet paper I have ever used! Over all experience was great, but to end a great night the way i did had me running out of there faster than i thought. It was a shame really, and when I brought it to the staff's attention, they seemed not surprised and instead went to go get thicker toilet paper in which I thought seemed real shady.

So, we reserved a private room with a fixed menu for context. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was nice and private. However, for large parties and the table provided in the reserved room, it made conversation difficult. The shear length of the table made talking to anyone past a few seats difficult to pursue or maintain, and you can forget about having a conversation from the far ends unless people are raising their hands to speak. Now the food was the disappointment in this venue, at least our menu. Trying to remember what the full menu was isn't possible, but we had two selections of appetizers, two main courses, and two deserts. My meal consisted of crab cakes, salad, New York Strip, and chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, BUT the New York Strip. Everyone who had the New York Strip had the same experience of a tough strip of meat with tons of fat and lengths of tendon like material stretching from end to end. I was very disappointed, to be honest, with a venue such as this I would expect better. It seemed to be the cheapest quality of meat they could must for this case. As far as the drinks go, the Mojito I had was perfect. In a high level view this wasn't a bad restaurant, perhaps they had a bad shipment of meat. In any case, I wouldn't mind trying 1 more time given the experience with everything else.
